Sabo is ‘perfect fit’ for position as Head of Business Development and Partnerships
Taking on a new department leader is a gamble for any company. But Brendan Heegan, CEO of Boxzooka Fulfillment & Global Ecommerce, needed no convincing that Eric Sabo, Boxzooka’s new Head of Business Development and Partnerships, would be the right bet. Sabo has spent the past month in his new position, based at Boxzooka’s headquarters in the New York City metropolitan area, managing partnerships with technology providers servicing eCommerce and leading Boxzooka’s efforts on strategic growth.
“Eric’s vast experience across top name brands managing their 3PL relationships make him a perfect fit for Boxzooka,” said Heegan. “His focus on service for clients, his deep industry insights and relationships throughout the industry combine with his leadership skills to make him an incredible asset to the company.”
Boxzooka operates state-of-the-art facilities in NJ and PA, while also servicing clients from other points around the country via a 3PL partner network linked to its proprietary WMS technology, offering third-party logistics services to eCommerce retailers — giving individualized attention and consultation regarding decisions for shipping and returns policies to each client, as well as procurement of carriers, supplies and packaging.
Boxzooka and its clients’ needs seem to be a match made in heaven with Sabo‘s professional background. Sabo has more than 13 years of experience in ecommerce operations, including work in customer service, in-house fulfillment, 3PL warehouse management, brand development and consulting. His introduction into the industry came when he started his own ecommerce site in 2001. In the years since, he has worked with several companies to help lead and build their ecommerce operations, including Tommy Hilfiger, Theory and Puma, among others.
“At Boxzooka, I believe in our mission of individualized service and tailored solutions for each client,” said Sabo. “Boxzooka has built a world-class system and has a growing number of clients. I’m looking forward to being a part of their continued growth.”
